This area of the world offers spectacular views ot the mountains and the beach is very popular with surfers. A tidle pool and spectacular beach makes it a great place for the family. A truly breathtaking beach with an abundance of flora and fauna, not to mention the wetlands. The beach is dog friendly and provides for a great place to swim surf and have fun.$

Facilities:

* The main beach provides change rooms and public toilets
* Parking is usually not a problem

Beach activities:

* Surfing at Long Beach (✪✪✪✪):A easy wave where the predominent winds are offshore. The wave does not get good all that often but when it does your in for a fun ride.
* Sunbathing at Long (✪✪✪✪): Somewhat protected from the wind by the dunes and houses just in front of the beach, this long white sandy beach provides for clasical sun tanning and sand castles.
* Walking at Long Beach (✪✪✪✪): Not quite sa long as noorthoek but still a classic walk.
* Swimming at Long (✪✪✪): If it was not for the cold water, this would be a 4 star swimming beach. Waves are fun to play and on those days where the waves are small, taking a prolonged dip can be very refreshing.
