Beach Talk - Photo posting now available!

The first significant new feature since World Beach List went online is now available. The site now allows you to post beach photos. You can upload the photo, give it a caption and description, and once it has been reviewed it will be available for all to see. The beach page will show you a tumbnail of the photo. If you click on the thumbnail you will be able to view the photo at up to 800x600 resolution.

Being that the only digital photos I had available were for [url=http://worldbeachlist.com/beach.php?id=2:2nsvl9uh]Orient Beach[/url:2nsvl9uh], this is the only place you can visit for examples right now. Once new photos are uploaded and approved they will show up in the recent photos list on the home page.

The usual posting guildelines apply for photos. You need to have an account on the site (created through the forum here). Just use the "Register" link above and create yourself an account. It only takes a minute and your info will not be used for any advertising.

Please don't upload your "world's naughtiest vacation photos" collection. The photos here are to show people the beaches, not what you can get away with doing on the beach. Also, please, no copyrighted photos. If I get e-mail from anybody claiming copyright on a photo it will be taken down. If the photo has a watermark from another website in it you can probably bet that someone is claiming ownership on it.

Photos posted here will have a small watermark places in the corner. This isn't to claim ownership but to discourage other sites from trying to use the photos posted here.

Now, with all the legal sounding (but not lawyer approved) claptrap out of the way, please, upload your photos. If a picture is worth a thousand words then one photo is as good as several reviews to show somebody a beach.
