Beach Talk - How about a beach profile?

Not too long back I started a [b:17eb1g8j][url=http://groups.google.com/group/alt.california/browse_frm/thread/09cf039d84e059fd/7fb05e3221700348:17eb1g8j]thread[/url:17eb1g8j][/b:17eb1g8j] over on Google Groups (actually, the old Usenet groups) asking about beaches in California. The discussion that ended up happening had more to do with what should be listed for beaches than things specific to just California beaches. This leads me to think that it is time to build a way for people to create and update profiles for beaches.

Now, the big question is, what should be included in such a profile. Some good suggestions were offered, and I'd like to get any more that people have. Unfortunately, it will probably be some time before I can add this new interface, but any suggestions made now can be incorporated into the interface when it does come around.
