Beach Talk - Two years and still going

A few days ago [color=blue:3gyxha93]World Beach List[/color:3gyxha93] past its two year anniversary. I must admit, the last year has been rather slow. Other things have eaten away at my time and my development environment (Linux under Microsoft Virtual PC) was giving me headaches.

I've now moved the development environment to a more stable configuration. Would you believe I'm doing the coding work using PHP, MySQL, and Apache all running under Windows? Surprisingly, it all works really well. The new environment has also given me a chance to use some version control tools, which make it easier to recover when I foul things up. Back to the beach, I'm starting to plan a trip for late spring or early summer (northern hemisphere). Wherever I land I'm sure there will be a beach nearby. A review and photos will soon follow.

Speaking of reviews and photos, my biggest disappointment with the site has been how few people have submitted their own reviews and photos. Come on people! I know you have seen sand at least once in your life. Share your experiences so that others can benefit.
