Europe
Despite being further north than one would expect for good beach locations (compared to places like Southeast Asia and the Caribbean), Europe abounds in great beaches. From the warm waters of the Mediterranean, to the cool waters of the Atlantic, to the down right cold waters of Baltic and North Seas Europeans always seem to find a way to hit the beach. Surely, somewhere in northern Norway, there is a pile of sand with a sun lamp for the people to use during the 15 minutes that pass for summer. One great thing about the European culture, besides its diversity, is the “live and let live” attitude prevalent across much of the continent. This belief translates strongly to the beach and to what people consider appropriate there. Topless sunbathing is allowed over much of Europe and for most countries, especially in the warmer climates, you will have no trouble finding a legal, public clothing optional beach. Whether you want to cover up to the neck, go topfree, or shed it all on a nude beach you will be able to find a place in Europe where the sun is inviting and the people are tolerant.
This location is also known as El viejo continente (Spanish), Europa (German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish), Европа (Russian), Рашка (Russian), 유럽 (Korean), ヨーロッパ (Japanese), and 欧洲 (Chinese).
